Who we are.
Award-winning landscape designer Crystal Connell-Nash is director and principal designer at Urban Flora. Whilst she initially studied product and graphic design at Otago University she completed her diploma in Landscape Design as the top performing student at Unitec in 2018, earning the NZ Gardener Award. She started her landscape design career working for well respected landscape businesses learning all practical aspects from maintenance and planting to design before starting Urban Flora.
Crystal believes the best designers are also gardeners who have a keen appreciation for horticulture and enjoy getting their hands dirty. Her plant knowledge coupled with her natural sense of spatial design and functionality helps Crystal create gardens her clients love.
