Hadfield

This small section of garden is basically reclaimed land.  The family wanted to improve an unused part of the garden that had become inaccessible.  After crown lifting the beautiful old oak that was shading it out and clearing away the overgrown leggy scrub that had overrun the zone it revealed a sizable space that connected to the existing deck.
We used natural cut bluestone pavers with ornamental gravel between to provide a soft access path to other areas of the garden that could now be connected.  The planting was an eclectic mix of evergreen foliage plants to ensure it looked pretty all year combined with flowering perennials in jewel tones.  The garden is now a beautiful space full of colour and movement that has truly enhanced the garden both practically and visually.
